Hi everyone, we’re Kirk and Steph Mattson, and welcome to Mattson’s Carpentry LLC! We own and operate our small business in Winchester, NH. We offer a variety of services and products including interior and exterior renovations, finish carpentry, rot repair, kitchen & baths, decks, windows & doors, custom wooden American flags, cutting boards, cribbage boards, and lots more!
Kirk is the master carpenter & project manager who does all of our home renovation projects! He’s been working in the carpentry business since 2014, and took the leap from sub-contracting to booking his own jobs in order to gain his own customer base in late 2019. From there, Mattson’s Carpentry really started to grow! Before working in carpentry, Kirk served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, and he says that’s where he gained his motivation to own his own business and be his own boss someday. He earned his bachelor's degree in project management in 2019!
I (Steph) take care of a lot of the behind the scenes things at Mattson’s Carpentry. I quit my job as a BCBA in June of 2020 to stay home with our son and help run the business. Some of my duties include updating the website, the social media pages, bookkeeping, scheduling, following up with customers, and all things organization! Once the home renovation side of the business really started to pick up, Kirk didn’t have time to complete the orders coming in for cutting boards, cribbage boards, and flags. So in order to keep that side of the business up and running, I picked up woodworking! I now take care of the woodworking side of the business and complete all of our shop orders! We have a two year old son and he is our reason for working so hard to grow our business!
In May of 2021 we applied for our NH LLC and officially became co-owners of Mattson’s Carpentry LLC!
